Bruce Jaffe, founder of computer tutor / computer doctor, has been providing expert computer help to individuals, families and small businesses since 1994. He is an Apple Certified Support Professional and was a proud member of the Apple Consultants Network for several years. He has passed an "A+" certification for Windows PCs, and a "Network+" certification for computer networks, both from the Computing Techology Industry Association (CompTIA), the IT industry standard. Bruce has completed the Apple Mobility Technical Competency training for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch).
Bruce has helped a wide range of residential and commercial clients of all skill levels, from novice to expert. His background in psychology helps him ease his clients' stress when they have a computer crisis, while working to solve the problem. He has a special knack for helping users understand and enjoy working with their computers.
While he was developing computer tutor / computer doctor, Bruce was working in the photography department at Newsweek magazine, first as a photo researcher, then as a photo editor and finally as a senior photo editor. Prior to that he was a freelance photographer and managed a photo archive of millions of images for an international news and stock photo agency. His expertise in photography, editing, and such tools as Photoshop add value to the services he provides to his clients.
